Muzzys full motorcycle exhaust systems and slip ons

Muzzys offers exhaust mufflers in two styles and four materials. Muzzys Round mufflers are available in aluminum. Muzzys Oval exhaust mufflers are available in Carbon Fiber, Titanium and Stainless Steel. The standard exhaust muffler shipped with a stainless steel exhaust system is the round polished aluminum. The standard exhaust muffler shipped with the titanium exhaust is the oval shape, either in titanium or carbon fiber. Any Muzzys muffler is available with any exhaust by ordering the correct part number for the combination. Oval Carbon, Titanium and Stainless Steel are extra cost items when ordered with a stainless header. Any oval muffler (including bolt-ons) can be ordered either in carbon fiber, or titanium at the same cost (Oval Stainless Steel is slightly less). In general the core diameter and length are the same regardless of shape and material. Therefore, Muzzys performance and sound level is the same regardless of material or shape. Special "quiet" cores are smaller and are available at a slight performance penalty and extra cost. MUZZYS exhaust mufflers are packed with a special hi temperature sound absorbing fiber material and should always be repacked with this material. Carbon fiber mufflers are not recommended for extended high temperature operation such as found in dyno testing or extended periods at high power. Care must be taken to ensure that carbon fiber mufflers are kept well packed to avoid heat damage.

Muzzys Slip on exhaust mufflers vary based on the design of the original equipment attachment. On bikes where the mufflers bolts to a flange on the stock head pipe, we design a billet aluminum end cap that will mate directly to the stock flange. On bikes where the stock exhaust muffler is welded to a removable mid pipe, Muzzys includes a new mid-pipe that mates to the stock header and fastens to our muffler with a standard pinch bolt or springs. All Muzzys slip on exhaust mufflers incorporate polished billet aluminum end caps, and available muffler materials are mirror polished oval stainless steel, brush finish titanium and carbon fiber.
